Cranberry & White Chocolate Scones

A deliciously festive twist on the traditional scone by Violet Glenton

Ingredients

  • 500g plain flour
  • 15g baking powder
  • 100g unsalted diced butter
  • 250ml milk
  • 150g white chocolate
  • 100g dried cranberries
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • For the topping
  • Your favourite jam
  • Rodda's Cornish clotted cream

Method

  1. Sieve together your dry ingredients, before working in your butter
  2. Then add your dried cranberries and white chocolate
  3. Mix in your milk
  4. Roll out and use a cutter to make scones
  5. Brush with egg wash before putting into the oven at 200C for 15 minutes
  6. Top with your favourite jam and crown with Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream
